Some of my current research interests include:

  • Documenting the lost urban landscapes and geographies in Los Angeles and San Francisco
  • Developing gazetteers of lost historical place names and features
  • Compiling indexes of lost street names
  • Researching the history of San Francisco’s public parks and plazas and the history of San Francisco’s lost cemeteries and pioneer burial grounds
  • Researching the history of lost railroads and communities in Los Angeles
  • I also enjoy bicycling, riding public transportation, urban exploring, reading, and playing vinyl records.
